ApresentaçãoPresentationSexuality is part of the entire life cycle, "it is the energy that motivates us to seek love, contact, tenderness and intimacy and is related to how we feel and how we deal with each other"(WHO, 2006). Sexual health influences physical and mental health and also contributes to a better quality of life. A positive approach to sexuality is needed, as well as the possibility of having pleasant and safe sexual experiences, free from coercion, discrimination and violence (Who, 2009). This UC addresses important issues of sexuality, as history, specific issues of gender, sexual orientation and violence, human sexual response and sexual problems. Throughout life, issues and difficulties related to sexuality often arise, or situations that interfere with sexual health, which leads to intense malaise, can arm relationships and mental and physical health. Thus, this UC is of essential importance for intervention in the field of psychology.
