    This currilar unit on social psychology as a scientific discipline that seeks to understand the behavior of human beings within their social environment. It addresses the theoretical and methodological approaches of social psychology, encourages critical thinking about theory and research in social psychology today, and promotes reflection on human action produced in social contexts. This course identifies the specific domain of social psychology, adopting its perspective for understanding the individual as a social being.

  • ObjectivosObjectives
    AO1: To present the theoretical foundations of social psychology and its areas of application OA2. The aim is to theoretically demonstrate the power of influence that people have over the attitudes, feelings and behaviour of others OA3: The aim is to present the most specific issues worked on in social psychology, as well as to understand the importance of social interaction today OA4: The student should be familiar with the field and methodologies of social psychology, have knowledge and the ability to understand interpersonal relationships, have the ability to identify psychosocial problems, develop information communication skills and develop skills that allow for lifelong learning.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    In theoretical classes, the presentation of the program content is complemented by discussion, debates, group dynamics and work, guided research and critical reflection on the application of the content to social reality. Tutorials (support for group work in the classroom). The material for the theoretical classes is made available on the Moodle platform. Interactive platforms are used to better understand the program content, as well as a more active learning methodology to encourage students' critical thinking.
