    This Curricular Unit intends to guide students to the knowledge of Athletics in its various aspects and to the application of this knowledge in the various learning contexts, especially within the framework of the organization of classes aimed at school age or training students, fundamentally oriented to a base. initiation or training of young athletes. It is intended to provide students with tools that allow them to profit from the material and pedagogical conditions of the different fields of action found, developing quality physical activities based on the practical and scientific knowledge of athletics, in the domain of their theoretical and practical assumptions and in compliance with these assumptions in the different contexts of practice in which the modality may occur (Teaching / Training; School / Club / Other; Training / Recreation / Performance).

  • ObjectivosObjectives
    1. Know and relate the theoretical foundations of the sport in the historical, technical, biomechanical and regulatory levels. 2. Master the fundamental techniques of the different disciplines of athletics, both at the theoretical and practical levels, demonstrating good levels of execution and observation skills in the correction of technical gestures. 3. Use information and communication languages and techniques appropriate to the different situations of your professional intervention. 4. Identify and know the particularities and procedures of the teaching methodology stages of each of the Athletics disciplines, appropriate to the structuring of Teaching / Training Units, especially in the teaching / training of children and young people. 5. Understand the Kids Athletic's model, identifying the justifications and objectives for its approach, as well as the forms played by this program. 6. Select the conditional capacities to be evaluated in the youth groups.
