Professor Raíssa Santos, a faculty member at Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT), coordinated the new volume of the Psychotherapeutic Approaches collection published by PACTOR (LIDEL Group), dedicated to the theme Borderline: From Clinical Cases to Therapeutic Strategies.
The book brings together contributions from several leading clinical psychologists and psychotherapists, who present clinical cases and intervention strategies supported by different psychotherapeutic models—namely relational psychoanalysis, couple and family psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and systemic couple therapy.
The goal is to promote an integrated understanding of borderline personality disorder, connecting scientific knowledge with clinical practice and contributing to dialogue between different therapeutic approaches.
The coordination of this collection by an ISMAT professor reinforces the institution's role in the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, projecting the work developed by its faculty to the scientific and professional community.
